Cash Register Paper Purchase Tips
Cash register paper, as the name implies, refers to the paper roll for recording cashier details used in the cash register. It is mainly used to provide customers with a shopping list, which can be replaced after use.
Generally, the material of the cash register paper is the corresponding material suitable for the printing parts inside the cash register. For ordinary dot matrix printers, ordinary 1-3 layers of paper can be used for printing; for thermal head printers, only thermal paper can be used for printing.
Common cash register papers are mainly thermal paper, ordinary double-adhesive paper .
Double-adhesive paper: The cash register paper produced by ordinary double-adhesive paper processing is all single-layered. There is no coating on the paper surface, and the words are printed on the ribbon.
Thermal paper: The cash register paper produced by thermal paper processing is all single-layered. The paper is coated with thermosensitive chemical coating. The surface of the paper is smooth. When you use nails or hard objects to pass over the paper, there will be clear imprint.
Thermal cash register paper is specially used for printing paper on thermal printers. The quality of the paper directly affects the print quality and storage time, and even affects the service life of the printer.
The thermal cash register paper is generally divided into three layers, the bottom layer is a paper base, the second layer is a heat-sensitive coating, and the third layer is a protective layer, which is mainly a heat-sensitive coating or a protective layer.
If the coating of the thermal cash register paper is uneven, the color of the printed printing will be different when printed. If the chemical formula of the coating of the thermal cash register paper is unreasonable, the storage time of the thermal cash register paper will be shortened after printing. The protective layer is also critical for the storage time after printing. It absorbs some of the light that causes the chemical reaction of the heat-sensitive coating to slow down the deterioration of the thermal cash register paper.
Method for identifying thermal cash register paper:
First look at the appearance of the paper, good quality thermal cash register paper has a uniform color, good smoothness, high whiteness, a little green. If the paper is very white, then the paper's protective coating and thermal coating are unreasonable, adding too much phosphor.
Next, bake it with fire and heat it on the back of the paper. If the color on the paper is brown, the heat-sensitive formula is not reasonable and the storage time may be short. If the black part of the paper has small streaks or uneven color, the coating is uneven.
The paper of better quality is black-green after heating, and the color patches are uniform, and the color gradually fades from the center to the periphery.
